we go right to fox5's alyssa deitsch live from the scene of the massive fire yeah, families were supposed to come here to the people's autism foundation within the next couple of days to pick up the school supplies. overnight, which you could see burning from our strat cam. one woman who works for the people's autism foundation told me they've been collecting backpacks and school supplies for children with specials needs and their siblings for months--getting everything they need from recent school supply drives. but after a fire was reported here around midnight... all those school supplies are gone. and now they're in desperate need of collecting more before school starts monday. = "there were hundreds of families coming for supplies they needed for their children and now its just gone." we still don't know what caused the fire, but the foundation has just days to replenish their supply for kids. if you want to help we've thrown up links to their website and facebook page on condolences continue to pour in after hundreds of people were killed in a massive earthquake in italy wednesday.
