this is a new warning for anne arundel county, baltimore, prince georges county till 7:00. it's a tiny part of prince georges county. the heaviest rain if you are headed out to 50, it's ridiculous. it's very heavy. a little bit of lightning with the storm. small hail and maybe winds up to 58 miles per hour. not a warning on this but this is the heavy storms across over 270. it's big-time rain from lakeville to damascus. that's pushing off to the north and east as well. still some pretty good rain from silver spring. have seen with this particular storm. 158 strikes in the last 10 minutes. so that storm is becoming rather intense. we've had storm reports, mainly to the south of town. notice tree damaging wind gusts. we will zoom in down toward dahlgren. when gusts of 51 miles per hour. good enough for damage there and reports of hail just to the west. great pictures coming in. this is from southern maryland. this is that down burst at 51 mile-per-hour winds. probably generated by that very cloud. this is in clarksburg. looking a little scary. this is some hail in rockville.
