the greenville county organization is in need of volunteers.fox carolina's ashley minelli joins us with more details on how you can get on board. 3 3 3 3 3 there are so many ways you can get involved with this organization but meals on wheels says the biggest need right now is people who can help deliver these bags filled with hot meals. 3 drivers are only required to commit to one hour a month... any day monday through friday. a basic route usually lasts about that long... in total - the organization delivers to about 1500 home bound people throughout greenville county. julie accetta, the director of community relations with meals on wheels says each volunteer provides so much more than just a hot meal... meal... 3 certainly we're bringing a lunch to folks who are hungry but um you're developing relationships with people. our volunteers may be the only people they're going to see on a daily basis and so that human interaction, that personal touch is really what it's all about.if you can't make it to the office to volunteer- meals on wheels has pick up locations across greenville county
