experience, i know delivering on more than what you promise is always welcome in a city like san francisco. civility at civil -- city hall. i have been working on that. as you know, once a month, i walk over the hallway -- in fact, one of those days was today, to answer questions that they have. and it is less dramatic, without the rhetoric that you have seen, but guess what? i have appreciated the questions they have been asking me because there is a lot more thought in those questions now. it is not a gotcha hour. it is not how you can sound good and maybe not follow through and do good. so i think those questions have become that much more mature, focused on the things that are important to the public, and i always take the opportunity to thank those supervisors for their questions. i will walk with them in their districts, commercial corridors, when they have been with me on any particular thing or not. we're all trying to run the city better. if we can do that, we will be ahead of the other cities that continue to debate among themselves, positions. we have a lot to look forward to, a lot to decid

i am a student at city college of san francisco. preparing for a construction career and i support rebuilding cpmc. i personally think there are many good reasons for rebuilding cpmc all five new hospital project will be -- bring many new construction work opportunities to the city which many of our construction worker brothers and sisters desperately need. they provide -- that there will help -- and they will help revitalize construction in this industry that was crippled in the recent economic crisis and give hope and chances for many of us who are studying at city college construction programs. the second, i remember a few years back there were plans on developing a new park for the san francisco 49ers. which was left planning stages and never materialized now. it feels like it comes full circle. cpmc has been kind to the city, providing greater health care for the city because they believe that they can be good partners to the city. as time goes, patients wanes. -- patience wanes. please vote yes. >> thank you. i am a student an

so, the use works program, the -- youth works program, the program at city college, those programs are available to all students. as far as the academy programs, we try to make sure our students have accessibility. we recruit from all i schools as well. and you see the program beginning in the second semester of the ninth grade. students have the ability to get from 5 credits to seven credits before they graduate from high school. make sure students have direct entry to the building trades, construction, also, welding or automotive programs as well. i talked about work-based opportunities. that is really where tjpa and the school district's connect. by supporting the curriculum, we have seen this in our carpentry class. we have worked very closely with burton high school, and i know we have worked very closely with the city program and our academy of engineering programs that washington and offered to develop their camp curriculum -- their curriculum. really the cherry for the students here is internship. we have 40 students that have expressed interest between all our programs. we are

mayor has brought a positive attitude towards his work at city hall. we all have our disagreements in city hall. there are times when the mayor and i agree on things and disagree. i know that is true with all of my colleagues. he always brings an incredibly positive and collaborative approach. even if you disagree, you can sit down and talk about it and try to work it out. his attitude toward the budget is not unique to the budget. the mayor brings that attitude toward every single thing that he does at city hall. it makes all of our lives a lot easier in terms of trying to get things done for the community. mayor lee.
