weather or flash flooding but a steady moderate rain over philadelphia right now the shades of green avenue now and then you get a pocket of yellow and that is the heavy downpours moving to the north and east and we'll see waves of showers continuing not only overnight but through the day tomorrow and likely on thursday. what a difference though, may the entire month philadelphia reporting less than an 1.25 inch of rain, so far the first two days of june we have received more than 2 inches of rain and some areas getting a lot more than that. i want to show you the rainfall totals 1 to 2 inches of rain, what is a good soaking, but south of philadelphia, we got hit here hard, parts of newcastle and kent county reporting 2 to 4 inches of rain and northwest atlantic county, 6 inches of rain, that is where we saw the bulk of the flash flooding. the good news is we are not dealing with flash flooding but we'll get showers over the next 48 hours these temperatures feel more like march. 57 in philadelphia, but i'm tracking a return of the 80s, i'll let you know when in the full accuweather forecast
