we'll see that in south bay.ke a live look outside in dublin and our temperatures will reach the mid-60s by early this afternoon. a look at our high temperatures reaching even warmer than yesterday into the low 70s for some of our inland valleys. watching the waves of rain and we're just missing out on a lot of this rain but we are seeing the northern fringe of this rain making it into the south bay. as we take it hour by hour we're at 3:00 seeing the rain in gilroy and morgan hill possibly as far north as palo alto. it does show some heavier rain moving in after that evening commute tonight for mostly the south bay. the rain falls apart so this is something we'll be watching for this evening moving out by this morning or by tomorrow morning and another storm system for the weekend that could bring in the potential of a half inch of rain for next week. so it's good to see that we do have some rain in the forecast. meanwhile the sierra snowpack continues to diminish. right now only 38% of normal. look at how much

nbc bay area responds to a south bay man's delivery problem. he asked consumer investigator chris chmura and his team to deliver. >> reporter: good morning. ed works for a south bay school district. he was waiting for u.p.s. to deliver two industrial sanitizers, these right here. they're worth about $7,500 apiece. ed says he tracked the shipment from georgia to san jose. so it made it from here to here, but the problem is the shipment never got on to a delivery truck. the sanitizers just sat, be stalled for three days. when ed couldn't get a straight answer from u.p.s. he contacted us. we contacted the company's headquarters in atlanta. a rep responded right away. u.p.s. then delivered the sanitizers to the school district. we asked what caused the holdup. u.p.s. didn't respond, though. its website says it is open for business but does indicate a caveat that might apply if you're shipping something right now. it says u.p.s. is maintaining delivery services except where limited by government restrictions. so until the allowed to go wherever it i
