"today in the bay's" bob redell in danville. that areas had flooding. >> reporter: we're along el capitan drive in danville in the east bay. you probably can't see but the roads here are still muddy. the sidewalks have a couple inches of mud and grime from this weekend's storm. this is a neighborhood that did flood, and you can see if you look at that home there in the background there's a lot of homes doing what these people did. they have sandbags in front of their garage, in front of the entryways because they're anticipating what could happen today. i know they don't want this to happen but they are trying to be prepared because of what they witnessed this past saturday. further north in contra costa county, the fire protection district, they're prepared, too, they tell us. they have boats ready for possible swift water rescues after the flooding they witnessed and con fire says it's almost a given this storm will threaten lives. >> our residents can prepare now to avoid those risks, it will help all of us to focus on this life-threate
