but a lot of the rain is falling apart as it reaches the bay area. there will still be the chance of light, measurable rain in parts of the north bay late other than tonight. this is 9:00 to 10:00 we're starting to see some light rain coming in and there may be spotty sprinkles around midnight to 2:00 in the morning. most of us won't see that. as we go into tomorrow, the north bay still getting a slight chance of rain into the evening while the rest of the bay area is clearing out. we're also going to see some light snow for the sierra. look at this. another 3 to 7 inches of snowfall between now and tuesday afternoon. so if you are going in that direction just a heads up that the roads may be very slippery. then going beyond that we're heading back to some dry conditions for the rest of the week and the weekend is looking sunny but next week we may see our next chance of rain. take a look at walnut creek and our trend with temperatures going up. the peak of the temperatures will be friday and saturday. next week it comes back down to seasonal weather.
