the next hour and we'll see that very shallow layer of fog right across the bay and you can see it over the golden gate bridgeere it is mostly clear and we're starting out with cool temperatures, especially in the north bay. we've dropped down to 37 degrees in santa rosa. it's 46 in oakland and concord, san jose at 48 degrees and 50 degrees now in san francisco. getting you out the door in mountain view with a look at how the day will shape up or at least the morning, we'll be at 46 degrees and low 70s by noon. these temperatures are slightly above normal. in fact, a lot above normal, especially for the south bay, reaching 77 degrees. normal is about 68. we'll be up to 78 degrees in concord and 77 in napa. santa rosa today reaching 80 degrees. as you're waking up and getting started this morning, you do need a jacket for the early hours but the rest of the day will be comfortable with short sleeves because of the wide range in temperatures. kind of hard to figure out if you want to wear shorts or jeans today because it will be very warm for the afternoon. our weather pattern staying the same. this large area
