police say that this happened on the conn chester highway in bethel township where a man veered overter line in the nun's car. as "eyewitness news" reporter alycia nieves tells us police are still trying to figure out what caused the crash. >> reporter: five people still in critical condition tonight after this head on crash in delaware county last night. >> this is one big -- four nuns out of philadelphia the driver of the vehicle is local , local resident. >> reporter: one of the crush cars towed away from the crash scene showed that impact of that crash. it happened on conn chester highway just after 7:00 p.m. >> all of the occupants were trapped. preliminary investigation determined that the vehicles were traveling in opposite direction for some unknown reason, one of the vehicles veered in the on coming traffic. >> reporter: authorities say nuns were driving in the on coming lane and hit head on by vehicle that crossed over the road's double yellow lines. investigators are still trying to determine what cause that had vehicle to veer and they are not able to get that answer from
