joining us now to talk about what is included and what is not and virginia's improving economy, bob mcdonald thank you for coming in. >> thanks for having me on. >> last week a lot of back and forth on the budget including 24 hours leading up to it being passed budgets obviously naturally are made up of compromises, lots of compromises let me ask you first, what do you like about what is in the budget. >> first of all that it is done. it took four different votes to finally get there, and as you pointed out, their budgets are compromises between people from both parties from all over the state what i like, is that we set priorities, historic new investments on our retirement system, unfunded liabilities and pension system major new investments, i have been pushing for to keep the lid on college tuition increases, more access more affordable, $700 million in new funding for k through 12 to help restore down turn we have had in recent years and funding for things like veterans issues, and criminal justicer yous, tougher punishments for drug dealers and sexual predators but we did reforms too w
