i am the last person, i believe, who bought bridget -- brought budget process reform to the floor and had a chance of getting something passed. my reason for saying it that way is that there are some changes that could be made, but the problem over the last seven, eight years is that it has not been used. i mean, my advice to the committee on budget in both the house and senate when they held hearings about this was, why don't you try it first before you decide to reform it. you might find that it actually works if you respected, if you adhere to the timetables, if you actually work together in a bipartisan way and in a bicameral way. so really what this process has an opportunity to do is to put that back on track. i am not sure that it will, bubble for somebody blames the process, realize that this is a process created by human beings. if those human beings don't open their ears and start listening to one another and getting to know one another and realizing that, just as an example, if i am not mistaken, the president had in his budget this last year over $500 billion worth of inte
