officially at bwi marshall, about 0.86 inch. the rain was a little heavier just to our south. instead of hitting 68 which would be normal, we only hit 56 at bwi marshall today and 60 in downtown baltimore. closer to 60 degrees in the far southern sections of the state. overnight, showers and and the skies began to clear and the winds start to pick up, with overnight lows 44-51. it looks like the storm will crank up off the coast of new england by tomorrow evening, drawing in the cool, gusty winds from the northwest. look for some sun and clouds and a chance for a shower in the late afternoon or evening. some of the rain will change over to snow in the adirondacks. it will be chilly fall storm as it is moving away. you can see it remains fairly steady across the region, even as the skies clear, it will stay breezy going into the first part of the weekend, which may have an impact on the baltimore running best on saturday. a 30% chance of a few leftover showers, and a small craft advisory is in effect. is only in the 40's in the western maryland mountains tomorrow with the linge

the two-day total, 6.11 inches for the storm total officially down at bwi marshall.some areas got a lot more than that. brown the western shore of the bay and the extreme eastern shore, rainfall totals of up to 10 inches of rain for the two- day total. essex got 8.5 inches, and farther south, in st. mary's county, a report of 14 inches of rain. the weher service did confirmed a tornado touched down in pasadena yesterday morning of around 9:46 a.m. the storm analysis showed as it was 200 yards wide and went about a mile in the pasadena area yesterday morning. it is the weakest on the scale of tornadoes, but it did touchdown in anne arundel county. there goes the last of the tropical rain, moving up the coast toward knowing and -- toward new england. we should have clear skies for the night tonight and a beautiful star to the weekend tomorrow. 45-52 for the overnight low, still breezy out there now, but the winds will diminish as high pressure moves in behind the storm. the weather pattern is the same, it has just moved a little farther to the east out over the atlanti
