reagan national 100 did he, dulles 98, bwi -- degrees, dulles 98, bwi marshall up to 99 degrees, still toasty out there this evening, temperatures holding up to 92 degrees. that's the warm spot. of course, it generally is this time of year with the heat island effect of the city and the concrete holding the heat from today. look at the heat index even at 10:00 at night, still feels like 96 degrees, quantico 100, feels a little cooler in fredericksburg with a temperature of 88 degrees. now listen, in anticipation of saturday and we were talking about this, we've been talking about it the last couple days or so, a heat index of 110 to 115 degrees has already been issued for the area. i don't know why it's not popping up right there, but just keep that in mind. i think tomorrow's heat index is probably going to be 100 to 105. they haven't issued it yet, but i'm just about sure they'll issue a heat advisory around here for tomorrow. it does get cooler. we can see the light at the end

we did hit 91 today at bwi marshall. 95 downtown, but the record was this day last year, one year ago. 102 degrees. the couple of storms possible in the next two or three hours or so. but we could see a clearing trend as far as sky conditions go. warm conditions just below 80 in downtown baltimore. southwestern win this with sunset at 8:26. pumping in the heat near 100 in denver. 94 in chicago. cleveland at 92. the heat will be coming our way on a westerly breeze tomorrow with a front dropping in with hot humid weather in place. there is likely to be strong storms and there's a slight risk of severe thunderstorms to the southern ohio river valley, southern maryland. we will keep an eye on the radar closely tomorrow. hazy, hot, humid. on debate, wind will be fairly light averaging 10 knots until the thunderstorms pop up, especially south of the bay bridge. up in the mountains, a 60% chance of storms. lots of sunshine. able bit more comfortable on wednesday. that trend will also shot on the eastern shore. steamy tomorrow with storms and then less humid and slightly cooler on wednesday.
