pg&e crews are out there right now. they're hoping to have the power back on you by 8:30 this morning. >>> the time is 6:31, we're learningwo aggressive pit bulls with his patrol car leaving one of the dogs dead. we're joined live, now, to tell us more about the series of attacks that left a neighborhood out there on edge. >> reporter: good morning. police officers had trouble core allege two pit bulls. they -- corraling two pit bulls. the dogs were heading right towards the academy. it's a private school you see here. there were students here at the time. that's when one officer used his patrol car to strike one of those pit bulls. one dog was killed instantly and the second was injured and taken into custody by animal control. san mateo police got calls for those dogs on the loose 9:30 yesterday morning. they were following the dogs for sometimes. at one point the pit bulls were attacking a landscaper and he was using a leaf blower to fend off the animals. and he clawed and bit at the door of a police cruiser and a woman suffered puncture wounds on her arms and legs and she's at the hospital. the department put out a st

by the sacramento county public health lab came back negative. health officials haven't said whether the two cases are related. >>> it's a major development in the investigation into the cozy relationship between pg&e and the state's public utilities commission. pg&e produced 65,000 e-mails that offered details on that relationship. tony, it was a massive stack of information released just today. >> reporter: no doubt, a massive amount of e-mails were posted online and the website crashed about 20 minutes ago. we got back in recently and we've gone through self-hundred of them and there's lots of details. here's what we're trying to confirm. this is what we're looking into. more evidence of inappropriate relationships between the utility regulator and the cpuc. basically, last year about 7,000 e-mails uncovered hundreds of improper communications between top execs and power brokers inside the puc. following the release of those documents, three top executives were fired from pg&e. state prosecutors have launched investigations into possible criminal action. san bruno has spent more than $200,000 to get these documents public. >> a lot of this shouldn't have happened in the first place. the exposu
