tim caputo is live near that bridge right now. point. you can only imagine what was going through the minds of those two men as they were staring at the water, 50 feet below them for several hours, waiting to get rescued. two bridge inspectors were left hanging, literally, after their truck tipped over on to the edge of the bridge. >>man: the truck tilted on the railing. prior to that, we believe any and all protocols were followed. the inspection was runninger and the truck tilted to the right. >>reporter: the two men were dangles at least 50 feet above the water. the men were trapped in place for about an hour. a second truck was brought in and the men slowly and carefully transferred over. >>man: this was a private company. this is not new technology. i've been here ten years and appear to be hurt but they were taken to the hospital anyway to be checked out. it took another few hours to right the tipped truck which means traffic didn't return to normal until well into the evening frustrating hundreds of drivers. >>man: we apologize fo

landing a teacher's aide prosecutors revealing the allegations behind these troubling charges. 7's tim caputo outside the maldon high school with more details for us today. >> reporter: adam, these are alarming accusations. he told his mother and police that the sexual assaults happened over the course of several months. >> how do you plead guilty or not guilty. >> reporter: maintains his innocence in court. steven mcdonald's is accused of repeated abusing a student at the school. frequently took a 16 year old disabled student to assist him. prosecutors say that's where the alleged sexual assaults happened. the incidents started at the beginning of last school year and continued to march. >> the defendant continuously home and kill his mother. the defendant would offer the victim candy on occasions to lure him to the bathroom. >> reporter: the 16 year old boy tried to not use the bathroom during school to avoid mcdonald. >> he was left in the hall way in wet clothes. the victim told staff at the school that the defendant was mean. >> reporter: mcdodged was immediately put on leave and indicte

tim caputo is live tonight. >>reporter: yeah, adam, that new report shows more than 100 incidents of prereceived through probable racism here that years. one of the most alarming part, in several incidents, nothing was done about it. students felt like school staff didn't do enough to stop racial issues at the elite school. report revealed today that teachers, administrators, and students of boston latin violated policy more than a dozen times and could've done more to address biassed based incidents. in june, the head master resigned amidst the controversy. the four month reports of alleged racist cases since 2012. a number of reported incidents shows there's an issue. >>man: doesn't matter if there's one serious one or series of incidents. there's a problem at boston latin school and now we need to do something about it. >>reporter: of the 100 plus reports, they found six cases where administrators failed to take appropriate action, four follow policy and several cases where students didn't follow policy. the
