and cathy says there should be more executives out there following his example. economy would improve leaps and bounds. joining us this morning, right now, ceo of gravity payments, dan price. good morning to you. >> thanks for having me. >> what made you do this? >> you know, i've been thinking about it for a long time. at gravity, every single person there is a key decision maker. but we have a lot of positions being in a call center, other eventually level positions where the market rate is $35,000, $40,000 a year. i'm making a million and we have clients that we really care about. and this american that's making $35,000 or $40,000 a year is doing just as much for that client as i was doing and it just didn't same fair. >> why 70,000? >> there was a 2010 princeton study that basically said dollars under $70,000, each of those dollars has an emotion cost and as a result, the dollars up to around 70 or $75,000, have an impact on the happiness quotient. so for us it seemed like what we really wanted as a company was to really just focus on our clients and helping
