you can still see his chevy malibu right here with bullet holes inside a bullet hole in the driver's side and also in the rear driver's side window. take a look at this video. this is from earlier today. now, what police are telling us is that they believe that this shooting happened about a block away at 65th and paschal. the car, the victim was apparently shot in the chest got into his chevy malibu and drove at a high rate of speed with his headlights off towards the 12th district. that's when again luckily he saw that police sergeant. now, that sergeant as he drove him, he moved him from the malibu into a police cruiser and as he drove him to the hospital, he tried to get as much information out of the victim as he could about what happened. here's what police had to say. >> he was driving his vehicle when shots rang out. three of the shots came into his vehicle and he was struck in the chest. while the sergeant was driving the victim to the hospital, he initially was conscious and then he became unconscious. >> reporter: now police did go to that scene at 66th and paschal where t

now, he arrived here to the twelfth district police station in that chevy malibu you can still see atne. you can see bullet holley holes on the driver's side and also on the rear driver's side window. what happened is just around 1:30 this morning a police sergeant entering any other 12th district saw that chevy malibu approaching the police station with no headlights on at a high rate of speed. the driver that of vehicle told the police sergeant that he had just been shot. that police sergeant moved him into a police cruiser where he rushed him to the hospital of the university of pennsylvania. now, along the ride the police sergeant said that he tried to get as much information out of the victim that he could before that victim did lose consciousness. we do know that the victim was shot in the chest. we also know, of course, that there were also multiple shots fired on the vehicle as well. now, the victim told the police sergeant that the shooting happened nearby, only about a block away at 66th and paschal. they sent officers down that scene. they did find witness who said that the
