meteorologist christina loren back here to talk about it.ast monday we were talking about record high temperatures. a little different this week. >> just absurd how cold it was. this morning you might find some frost on your windshield yet again the past couple days. hopefully you weren't up at 6:30 in the morning over the past couple days, but if you were, it was cold enough for frost in every single interior valley of the bay area. this morning we're running about 3 to 5 degrees warmer in most cities than we were just 24 hours ago and that's good news. relative humidity is increasing. 44 degrees in san francisco, 38 to start in napa. 36 in livermore. it is cold out there. 41 in oakland, which is actually very, very cold right by the water, so keep that in mind. we want to talk about showers on the way. what's happening is we've got this area of low pressure just lingering to our north. the tail end will sweep through the bay area but not until we hit tonight. if we do see any showers, the most likely location will be up in the north bay. y

christina loren always working very hard for us early in the morning. she has been tracking this weather. rain on the way for us, right? >> yeah, rain on the way. i'm concerned for people who are trying to get out of town today, although we're not expecting heavy rain until later on tonight. we are expecting flight delays, especially out of sfo with low ceilings in the forecast as early as this morning, and winds are picking up as well and will continue to as we head throughout the day today so keep that in mind. grab your jacket, grab that umbrella. the system for the most part stays to our north as high pressure is still in control. you can see the showers breaking apart before they hit the golden gate bridge. that will continue to be the trend throughout the day but that ridge will break down as we head throughout the second half of the day. starting to get our first showers here south of the golden gate bridge starting at about noon. we'll see the heaviest activity between 5:00 p.m. tonight and 5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. we're talking about the pot
