christina loren is off, rob sin for her. what's happening? >> outside this morning we're off to kind of a chilly start. we don't have patchy low clouds or fog. our temperatures in the 40s from santa rosa to half moon bay. clear skies out on the coast and that sea breeze will be picking up as we go through the afternoon. notice right now not a lot of wind, we're seeing a southeast breeze into san francisco, for the america's cup today is it going to get above 20 knots? it doesn't look like that. it look likes we're going to see 15 to 20-mile-per-hour winds for the better part of the early afternoon so it looks a little more favorable to get the races in as we go through the afternoon. out at the ballpark, a's game after 7:00, we'll see 70s around first pitch time. 60s as the game goes on. earlier in the day oakland should see a high of close to 80. 78 in san francisco. mid 80s in san jose. 90ness land and this the warmest day over the next few days because look how the temperatures drop, and more than dropping temperatures, dropping raindrops.

look at the weather conditions that firefighters will face let's check in with meteorologist christina loren. >> good morning. the weather definitely not going to be an asset when it comes to fighting that fire. we have low humidity, one of the hottest days of the entire year is expected today. we're starting out in the east bay with temperatures at 68 degrees this morning in livermore. what i can tell you relative humidities are typically at their highest in the early morning hours. relative humidity is a product of temperature and moisture, as we head throughout day we expect the numbers to fall into the teens potentially so when it comes to the brush fire this is what we expect. 90 degree, wind out of the northwest, dry north wind, 10 to 20 miles per hour, picking up throughout the day. and humidity at 20%. potentially dropping down to 15% later on this evening. so we'll watch this closely. also we could be breaking temperature records here in the bay area. i'll show you where when this heat will break but for now back to you, john and laura. >> and for up to the minute information on the

christina loren will be out in the field. anthony slaughter is here to help. >> we're going to see christina. right now temperatures are cool, we're talking about the wind today. it's going to be all about the winds because america's cup is throughout and that's what christina is setting up for. the winds gusting up to 20, even 35 miles per hour the past hour. again, that's what it's all going to be about, winds that will gust this afternoon about 25 to 35 miles per hour. this is around the start of the america's cup race. 1:00, the winds gusting already close to 30 miles per hour. look what happens as we head to 4:00, even stronger so we could talk about cancellations of the america's cup again because that threshold right around 26 miles per hour. for today temperatures comfortable, 70s around most of the bay. 65 san francisco. san jose at 77 and livermore right at 79 degrees. the seven-day forecast does have rain in it. we've been telling you about this since the weekend. of course as each and every day gets closer the mode

let's check the forecast with meteorologist, christina loren.g to you. it is our second storm system over the past four days. we are now getting into the fourth official day of this season. this one is not going to bring a lot of rain with it like what we saw over the weekend. what it will bring, gusty winds. we want to start with is this live picture of san jose, one of the only cities with any cloud cover at this point. the upper levels of our atmosphere are moving so quickly you can see these clouds moving this morning with the naked eye. this flight right on time out of san jose. i can tell you, we're right on time out of sfo and oakland as well this morning with no fog to report in either city. winds are gusting and they will continue to pick up as we head throughout the day today. you do want to keep that in mind. this is what we are expecting from the winds. increasing wind speeds mostly between the hours of between 1:00, when we are expecting that america's cup final race to start. that will be the case until at least 5:00 p.m. then, thi

meteorologist christina loren. >> yeah, you know, we just finished off summer this past week so a lot of people may not be prepared for that. the reason for the cool start, clear skies, this is san francisco, no need for that fog light here. temperatures ary looking really good. the 70s for most of the bay area. 45 now in gilroy or 48 in santa cr cruz. where you may be caught off guard, concord and livermore in the upper 40s, that hasn't happened over the past two months so we're waking up cool and it's really dry out there. for someone who suffers from chapped lips have that chap stick handy. you'll notice on the key the warmer colors. that's where we expect the strongest wind. by noon seeing a lot of that wind especially in the north bay. at the immediate coast. the second half of the day between lunch and 4:00 p.m. the winds will increase. they will remain strong which is why we have the red flag warning. temperatures looking good. 80 degrees inland. at the coast 69 degrees for you with a lot of sunshine and breezy to windy conditions. >> you know, i think they are getting better a
