start off with meteorologist christina loren.ood morning. >> we have a great looking week ahead. 54 in san carlos to start the new day. 53 in oakland. hopefully you had a great weekend. recharged, batteries ready to go for a brand new pattern. things are going to be different this week. let me show you the noon temperatures across the microclimate. a little bit on the cool side today through your lunch hour. 59 degrees at noon on the peninsula. 59 degrees for the east shore. 61 degrees out in the tri-valley. rounding out the day only in the mid 60s. a couple isolated 70s in the warmest cities across the bay area really focusing on that for the north bay. elsewhere, though, mid 60s for the south bay. peninsula, east bay, tri-valley, and san francisco, you will be in the low 60s for today. now, the big news in the weather department we've got an area of low pressure, cutoff low to hit the bay area later this week. could bring more thunderstorm activity. we are expecting showers. we'll detail that for where you live in just moments.
