our cinthia pimentel here to talk about the storm's path, and we saw the sprinkles in a lot of places up and down the corridor. >> down here in the south bay, it felt muggy, too, and we got strong winds at times. let me show you what happened, taking it way back to yesterday morning. we were looking at this system coming in, getting closer to california. it came in as a tropical storm, though, yesterday morning, and just continued to wreak avenue havoc as it got into the mountains, the deserts pommelling them with huge amount of rain. luckily it did wind down and wrapping itself around making its exit through the coastline of the bay area. let's talk about some impressive rain totals that we did see from this rare event. the san bernardino mountains over 13 inches of rain there. these numbers coming to us from the national weather service as more of that data gets collected. they'll give the official stamp and definitely mark this one in history. santa rosa mountains, over 4 inches of rain. that's near, downtown l.a. got swamped with the moisture, an d death valley national park sayin
