it's a latest as string of robberies around clearwater. police are linking that man to at least two of them and possibly more. >> reporter: this is where it started overnight yesterday around 3:20 on the speedway on drew street. detectives are going to use to link these together is a clear surveillance shot of a man walking into the store. the hooded sweatshirt tied tightly around his face. he went up to the clerk demanding money and implied he was armed. you can see him leaving the store with what looks to be cash ihi 2003 or 2004 four-door nissan with a rear spoiler. the clerk said he did not see the gun but he certainly implied he had one. a scary situation. eight hours later he then robbed another store down the road and again in addition to the one he talked about overnight. and also the principal amount pinellas county. >>> tampa police are launching its annual operation to keep you and your belongings safe during christmas shopping. called operation secret santa. police let extra patrols in mall parking lots and other shopping areas
