i'm here in coffey park - in the heart of one of the burn zones.not much is happening as far as debris removal goes. it's just too wet for most of that work to be happening today. check out the line of dozers, all parked in the rain.there are very few contractors out here today because of all the water.but the city has been using straw wattles that you see lining the front of each property.for the most part those have kept standing water from spilling into the streets. some wattles have moved and blocked storm drains, but i met a coffey park neighbor who was been gently nudging some of those out of the way to get water flowing into the drain again. i mentioned contractors not able to work much today.7 some áhave been, but the work they're doing has been slowed down a lot.7 i'll tell you the tough tasks they face in the rain, coming up at six o'clock.live in santa rosa's coffey park, spencer blake, kron four news. ( darya ) all the rain we're seeing can create dangerous conditions on the road. a car fire on the hayward bridge led to massive backups. this was just one of the many problems the c-h-p had to deal with monday. in daly city... one driver -- who was cruising in the fast lane -- hydroplaned across traffic. that driver is going to be okay. but another driver crashed into the center divide... and a third driver hydroplaned right off of 280. we do not know how these drivers are doing this morning.
