there is a federal case comey is referring to there.he alvin bragg, the decision in new york city gal ran-sized support for trump. they're coming after him again. this is all politics. there are different rules for different people. there is big boost in republican polling for trump after that. whether we see the trump effect in the case of hypothetical future charges from various jurisdictions. i don't know, that is entirely possible. comey is saying the pressure is on to get it done before 2024. they don't want to be seen as interfering with an election. a lot of americans would say they have sort of done that quite a bit recently. ashley: yeah, they have but with regard to donald trump as you say has all these legal issues happening over his head t doesn't seem to hurt his base it plays to the narrative that he being picked on but can some one like ron desantis use that to his advantage? >> if there is a underlying concern, if people are trepidatious about trump's ability to win a general, i think desantis feeding into those concerns
