but locally the big headlines, all about danville. this has been a phenomenal story. we've been following the steffens family for several months. let's start with maggie steffens. was she born with a water polo ball? absolutely. the baby picture of 19-year-old maggie steffens from danville. her parents, big water polo players. a couple weeks ago, the family photo at the house in danville before they came here to lopped and they're all here cheering on both the steffens girls on team usa. a full circle deal. they end up winning the gold. let's show you what happened in the pool. team usa water polo against spain. and how about this? think if you're the parents. you have daughter jessica steffens with the assist to kid sister maggie steffens. maggie steffens scored five goals in the victory against spain for the gold medal. team usa scored eight goals in all. five goals for magaziny. brenda villa, heather pepri and seidemann all scored. the celebration at the end was classic. team usa led by the steffens sisters beat spain 8-5 for the first ever gold medal in water polo

here is one leak first identified, a grade two leak at this home in danville, back on december third. the state requires utilities to repair grade two leaks within two months. 29 months later, the leak on this meter continues. surprised? >> i'm shocked, first of all it is above the meter. there could be an explosion in my house. >> reporter: she knew nothing about the meter situation, and says that according to pg&e, it is their policy. >> i feel they're putting them at risk. >> reporter: the state regulatory records show that pg&e has identified more than a thousand leaks as of october. now a vast majority were reported as grade three leaks, as known hazardous, but this employee looks into the accuracy. were you ever pressured to grade a leak differently? >> yes. >> reporter: up or down? >> down, they basically wanted us to grade them differently. >> reporter: he says they gave them more time to repair the leaks established by the state. >> as supervisors, we're supposed to be out there protecting people of california. and i feel it has not been done. >> reporter: a whistle blower c
