darcy? >> reporter: well, erika, we are still working to shore up details of this story. here's what we have been able to piece together. apparently there was a carjacking here in the district. and at some point, a police agency began to follow a vehicle matching the description of an suv involved in that incident. but it turns out that that was not the correct vehicle. they didn't know that at the time. the driver when they tried to pull that driver over, decided to flee from police, and the vehicle took off and ended up at maryland live casino in anne arundel county. apparently, that driver parked in the parking garage of the casino and walked inside, where there were a lot of people there last night. many people, like you say, decided to evacuate, get out of there because the police presence. police questioned the man they had pursued, he was standing by a slot machine, apparently on his cell and police eventually determined that he was not involved in that carjacking. but they did search him. and during the search, they say they found more than 40 grams of marijuana.
