and this is one of the spots where my colleague david louie said there are officers and agents. this is adams avenue just a block away from fremont boulevard. and a couple of blocks away from safe d safeway. behind me, you see the flashing lights of numerous police cars. they are part of a larger contingent of police vehicles including s.w.a.t. trucks which have been circled part of this neighborhood. we have interviewed witnesses who say they saw the shootings or at least one of the shootings that occurred next to the auto zone car parts store. and that's just a block away from us. they say the suspect was in a white pickup truck. take a listen to all three. >> we seen the truck come into the parking lot and then they drove into the back of the officer close behind. told him, you know, don't move, stay in the car. the guy ended up getting out of the car. the officer said, be still, don't move. and they exchanged shots and the officer was hit. >> i guess he saw one of the shooters like shot at his truck. he saw one of the shooters shoot an officer closest to safeway, okay? and r
