. >> good morning let's go over to david murphy with accuweather good morning. >> reporter: it was a beautiful day, but after today it could be stormy. we'll have shower activity that will clip the poconos this morning. foorlt to the west there's a cold front -- farther to the west there's a cold front that will get closer. we'll see a thunderstorm later today and tonight. storm prediction center in oklahoma has the region in the low risk for a gusty storm to develop later on. the best chance of this is up in the northern suburbs reading poconos, bucks and western chester county. it's not out of the question that they make it down to the i-95 corridor, however. 65 degrees, more muggy morning that will have a bigger impact later in the day. as you step outside to catch the school bus on what is the last week of school for a lot of schools. 62 degrees by 6:00 a.m. partly cloudy and warm. noon 80 degrees, looks like we'll be at 84 by # p.m. late afternoon high of 85 around 3:30 or 4:00 p.m. after 56:00 p.m. we'll be on the look out for the storms out of the northern and western suburbs.

to get the latest, meteorologist david murphy is at the big board. david how was the weekend? >> reporter: it was nice, i wish i could say it was going to stay that way. it's starting to get sticker. earlier we had showers popping through, but that's nuisance stuff and they are gone. tweer watching a cold front -- we're watching a cold front that's extending to the ohio valley and beyond, along it there are showers and thunderstorms that are beginning to pop up, one severe weather warning northeast of buffalo and upstate new york state. national weather service storm prediction center in normman oklahoma has a bowling alley stenlded from tb at any -- extended from tennessee to kentucky to our neck of woods. in this line as we go through the afternoon into the this evening, for us, there's the chance of some severe weather developing in the form of some strong gusty thunderstorms. let's take a closer look at that map drawn up by the storm prediction center for the area. this is an area that is categorized as a low risk, but a risk nonetheless for thunderstorms developing that c
