. >> and i'm lauren glassberg in for david novarro. weaver getting new details about a string of jewelry store thefts in manhattan. >> police releasing new surveillance videos of criminals in action. the latest robbery on wednesday. eyewitness news reporter rob nelson is live in midtown with details. >> good afternoon, these guys have hit three stores just in the last four months including most recently as you said right here behind me at madison jewelers each time making a pretty easy get away. >> police are now calling this a robbery spree targeting midtown jewelry stores with three incidents dating back to september. the most recent robbery took p.m. at madison jewelers on broadway, which you can see on surveillance video. one of the men uses a small gun to demand jewels and watches and fled with the items. and then back on october 9th. police say the same two men targeted kenjo jewelry store on west 57th street where one suspect brandishes a handgun and demands merchandise from employees. they fled with an unknown number of watches
