david perdue in georgia, maybe not as surprising to understand what was happening on this day.ple forget on january 6th, we have the results of that election in georgia. we forget about it because january 6th was such a big deal. but that election was key for democrats to win the senate. and so a lot of stuff was happening around this time and it's clear that fani willis has been on top of it. >> and let me just read a little bit here for our viewers because as i'm looking at these documents, i'm trying to put all the pieces together. there's a lot of numbers, actually, on the side of some of these documents. and there's this -- on page six under section seven, it says with respect to the national effort to overturn the 2020 presidential election focused on efforts in georgia, arizona, wisconsin, michigan, pennsylvania and the district of columbia, the grand jury recommends that the district attorney seek indictments of the following persons including votes, and then it lists a long list of people, including 30-plus names. that's where we see lindsey graham's list, people like

jurors were considering whether david perdue violated the law by persistently urging officials to subvert the will of georgia voters. and both perdue and kelly loeffler were being investigated on potential charges, i guess the way to put it, of being parts of a broader effort to overturn the georgia election. we know that both of them backed trump's claims of a rigged election. those lies about a rigged election. they both endorsed the effort to block his -- joe biden's electoral college certification in congress. although both never voted on that in the end. >> how is this playing in georgia? i mean, i haven't been down there during this. i have no idea. is this -- do you feel like this is playing one way in one county and another way in other counties? or is there a broad sense in that state that -- you tell me, what is the broad sense? is there a broad sense of anything? >> that's a good question. i think it's playing differently to different voters. republicans continue -- many republicans continue to -- this as a politicized prosecution, "the atlanta journal constitution" poll showed

and see, i believe, he will say, that they did not charge kelly loeffler, they did not charge david perduer people, but yet they're coming after me -- and we saw this on the report, that the vote was not unanimous. there was a holdout that was not in favor of indicting the former president. i think you're going to hear more about that. the report itself is really skeletal. there's no evidence of deliberations. there's not much to be said about what -- there's no transcript. nothing to be said about what's happened in front of the special purpose grand jury. it's about nine pages listing out who voted for what and the numbers of the votes and this defendants they thought are potential defendants should be named. the rest of the report is a recitation of georgia law. so i think he'll use it. whether or not he uses it at trial, i don't know. but i think this -- you're seeing all of this, everything that's happening is playing right now into his hand as it relates to delay and then argument that, look, i've got all of these people, all of these prosecutors all coming after me and they want to
