david culvert is live along i-66 in prince william county with what police are asking from us all. jim and wendy, this is where police say that suspected fake cop was trying to pull people over. this part of 66 right here in prince william county. but it was the suspicion from another driver that ultimately led to an arrest. looking at a mark police cruiser, not difficult to see this is a legitimate squad car. but it's the unmarked cars like this chevy impala that can be a little tougher to judge. especially when you compare this real police cruiser to this one. notice it's even got the red and blue lights. but virginia state police say this one is a fake. the driver 23-year-old sherif ahmad. police tell me another driver was cruising down this part of 66 near haymarket when they noticed a white impala with blue and red lights trying to pull people over. he was suspicious so he went ahead and called 911. that other driver gave police the license plate number. they found ahmad a few blocks from his home sitting in the mock cruiser. they want to know if he's tried this on others. one
