it centers on the employee's manipulation and abuse of the harley davidson tuition assistance program in which employees are reimbursed by the company for taking college according to the search warrant we've obtained for the employee's bank records, investigators believe she was registering for classes at ottawa university in brookfield, . harley would pay for the classes but the employee would then , cancel the classes and keep the refund. they believe it happened repeatedly at ottawa and the online ashford university. she's also accused of keeping tuition reimbursements she claimed from harley paid-out in her regular paychecks. police believe the scheme took harley for abo16 her employment ended in 2014. the colleges aren't accused of any wrongdoing, and in fact assisted police. , we're not naming the woman because she hasn't been charged but milwaukee police tell us , their investigation could soon be presented to the district attorney for charges. there is no indication and the search warrant what the woman we did reach out to harley, but they told us that they have no comment. to

i am deb davidson. sean: the holiday weekend is over, but it was a very deadly one on new hampshire roads. at least half a dozen people died in crashes since friday, the most recent was last night on interstate 93 in manchester. wmur's ray brewer is live at the state police barracks in bedford this morning with the new ray: good morning. state police say the crash on the southbound side of interstate 93 involved a total of five vehicles and claimed the life of a woman from derry. with the end of the holiday weekend there was a lot of extra traffic on the highways last night. police say a pickup truck driven by a man from hudson didn't slow down in time for slow traffic near the split with 293 around 6:30 last night and hit several vehicles. vehicles rolled several times and ended up off the highway. the driver of that car, 62-year-old cynthia perkins of derry died at the scene. no one else was seriously hurt in the crash, which does remain under investigation. so far, no charges have been filed. this ma

from the traffic network, i'm deb davidson for 95.7 wzid. erin: we start with a developing story out of barnstead. police and firefighters spent the night at the scene of a fire in oxbow road. sean: ray brewer live from the fire department in barnstead this morning. i understand one person was seriously hurt in this. when firefighters arrived, they found one person outside of the home. the person was transported. no ward on their condition yesterday. firefighter describe him as seriously injured. it was just about 11:00 when firefighters were called to 80 oxbow road in barnstead. when they arrived, they had flames shooting 50 to 60 feet in the air. firefighters were hampered in their access. you can tell it is a rural area. some powerlines had come the fire captain says they had problems getting water to the scene because of the drought situation. many of their fire ponds are low. they went to three alarms to bring additional personnel and tankers to the scene. the fire captain says it took about an hour and a half to get the fire under cont

when i am deb davidson. erin: thank you. our top story -- a manchester man accused of kidnapping his girlfriend in londonderry last week is due in court today. sean: 22-year-old victor rosario turned himself to police on friday night, a day after he was initially interviewed by police. wmur's ray brewer is live outside the courthouse in derry this morning to explain the case. this started last thursday, when police say victor rosario went to his girlfriend's workplace and dragged her out of the building by the arm. the couple were later tracked to worcester, massachusetts using cell phone pings. the alleged victim was not injured, and police spoke with rosario at that time, but let him go while they investigated. the next day, however, they issued an arrest warrant on charges of domestic violence, simple assault, and false imprisonment. rosario turned himself in to police that night, and was the couple does have a child together, but police say that child was not involved in any way. rosario is scheduled to be arraigned firs

from the wzid traffic network, i'm deb davidson for 95.7 wzid. sean: topping our news -- a rhode island man is facing charges in connection with a stabbing in plymouth sunday morning. officers arrested terrance simmons yesterday afternoon. he's scheduled to face a judge this morning. wmur's ray brewer has the latest on this investigation. good morning, ray. ray: good morning, sean. the stabbing happening just after 4:00 a.m. sunday morning outside ken winter street near policemen uth, which is off campus housing for plymouth state university students. we're told that two of the victims are students. when police arrived at the scene, they found three injured remains hospitalized. now, officers arresting 19-year-old terrence simmons jr. around 3:00 p.m. sunday. police say they found illegal drugs on him during the arrest. >> we chase this had kid down the street into the woods. we led the police on to that area, and they found some evidence. >> when something like this happens to people that close to you, you really want to try to take care of it a

i'm deb davidson for 95.7 wzid. erin: hurricane matthew continues to slam the coast. sean: it is pummeling the bahamas. it is blamed for 11 deaths. the united states officials says the storm caused the biggest humanitarian crisis since the earthquake in 2010. erin: this was the strongest hurricane to hit since 1964. homes. there's now a shortage of fresh water. the full extent of the damage is not clear. here in u.s., governors in florida, georgia, and south carolinas have declared states of emergency as they brace for the impact of the hurricane. if the storm stays on the current track, it could hit miami tomorrow night. sean: that's right. the nation community is waiting to hear from their loved ones. ma haiti. they are struggling to get news. ray brewer live to tell us how they are coming together in support of the hurricane victims. ray: they are planning to hold a fundraiser to raise money for people suffering in the hard hit areas. they are continuing to raising voice and prayers. >> they don't know about their loves one in haiti. ray: it's an agonizing wait. >>
