and so, that will conclude my report. >> commissioner dejesus? >> sure, so i do think that everything went well and i have a question about the mission, and most of the damage i believe was in the mission and the bond fires were in the mission and i am just wondering and knowing that they did a good job and they did a great job and i am wondering if i can better prepare since it is the mission where it is an area where a lot of these violent things can occur. >> if we can get the people to promise not to light the bon fires but there were bon fires at third and king and i think that we did the best that we could at picking up fuel, and dpw and we escorted them in and out and they picked up things at the curb and we took a ton of garage out of show place square, that afternoon, including 400 syringes and we did the best that we could, every single night that was a potential clinch game in preparation not to have fuel at the curb for burning but you know, it is just, the fires pailed by comparison on the other night, compared to the bottles that we

. >> commissioner dejesus? look at me. forgetting. >> it is for the chief and i know that i was gone for a couple of weeks but we have talked about putting cameras on officers, and there is i am just wondering if you can address that. >> we have secured 250,000 dollars to put cameras on 50 supervisors that we will and we are working on the policy and procedure, and meet and confer with the poa, and the, the main thrust of these particular cameras, would be to video tape the entries into the residentses, so that we make sure that we capture the information at the door. and much has been asked about having cameras, on all police officers. and the 50 cameras that the cost is about $100,000. and annually to store the data, for 50 camera and so the cost will be $2.4 million annually to put the cameras on all police officers, ongoing. and so, as it is right now, the cost is prohibitive... been fantastic and former president mazzucco and vice president turman, and commissioner wong, and dejesus, as i worked with them for years and they have been an excellent police commission and i have been before them for several, several times, and i especially want to welcome, captain wow, i demoted you, chief, greg suhr and thank him for giving me the station that i dreamed of for a long time. it is heartfelt and i wanted to have this station for a long time. deputy chief had a say in the matter also and i have been in the hall for several years, and it was actually my home station and i worked here from 91 to 94, and i was actually the 6th car which was the visitation valley, sunny dale, myself and my parter at the time who is now the president of the poa and so who would have believed that we achieved what we have so far, before we get going in this, i really want to thank, greg suhr for sending me here, it is the second biggest station in the city and a lot of area to cover and the most diverse, community that i have ever seen and i have had, nothing but open arms from my community,
