and you mentioned diane. so she is a 69-year-old restaurant hostess who worked her entire career in restaurants from the time she was 18 and working night shifts at a local diner. she has worked hard her whole life and at various points in her life she has gone through layoffs and a restaurant she was working at was sold or closed and went into new management and went into bankruptcy. you know, she's had to move on and to find new jobs. it's not been something that's been, you know, stable for her as she's had to, you know, find her way through this. and as she's gotten older and older, the difficult of finding new employment when she goes through a layoff has gotten harder and harder, and you know, age 69 she's finally come to the point where she has to declare bankruptcy because she's no longer able to sustain just her day-to-day expenses and at 69 she's still trying to work because she can't afford to retire. she's looking for jobs hostessing, working in cafes. she's put an ad in craig list offering to pet
