abc7 news south bay reporter dustin dorsey explains the latest recommendations to keep you and your lovedes safe. >> rsv is on the rise in santa clara county. health leaders say an already busy flu and covid season is getting even busier with a rise in respiratory syncytial virus. >> what we saw last year and so far what we i think we're seeing this year is a peak first in rsv, then a peak in flu and then a peak in covid. so we're going to be monitoring that's part of what we do here at the public health department. but so far, it does look like rsv is probably going to peak first in wastewater monitoring backs that up. >> santa clara county is the leader of community detection for a number of illnesses and diseases, including rsv. in the last month, the wastewater has shown double the amount of rsv in san jose and in the palo alto, sunnyvale and gilroy sewer sheds. it has doubled in the last week. >> rsv affects everybody in every age in our community and we know that the more rsv there is in the community, it's then going to spread to and put those young infants at risk, babies younger

abc seven news reporter dustin dorsey has details now on operation phenix. >> two years, multiple agencies, nine arrests, and most importantly, 18 rescues and alleged human trafficking ring that spans several bay area cities, most in santa clara county was taken down by a joint operation led by the santa clara county district attorney's office. >> it represents the future of human trafficking investigations here in the state. it was a proactive investigation in which this organization was identified and it was thoroughly investigated over the last two years. and it resulted in the identification of these victims as well as traffickers. >> all nine of the alleged traffickers who come from across california appeared in court tuesday. bail ranging from the thousands to millions of dollars in this case. six other suspects have been identified as part of this, but they have not been arrested yet. according to the da's office, arraignment was postponed for two weeks and the defendants attorneys say they intend to fight the charges. >> what's your client's reaction to the charges? >> well, he's n
