that's been in place across much of eastern mass southeastern new hampshire throughout a good chunk of worcester county. when you overlay that area where a good chunk of that extreme drought area from southern new hampshire back into northern worcester county got beneficial rains 2-3 inch widespread there. couple of towns northern worcester coming closer to four. however the bulk of us in the boston metro area down through the south shore didn't see much rain at all. couple of tenths of an inch of rain. few town close to half an in. then you skip down near the south coast of new england that's where it's currently raining at time. scattered showers down through southern rhode island. back close to buzzard's bay. they are brief. they will not amount to much. quarter inch or less with the showers rolling through. that's the case over the next few hours. it will tend to dry it out throughout the afternoon. we begin to see the owning of the cloud cover get suppressed off to the south. i expect some more sunshine to return as we go throughout the day. in fact, late this morning and then thr
