elkton has a 12-mile, northwest breeze. first of all, for florida, going to get a lot of rain. some areas could see 4, 5, 6, 7 inches of rain over the next four days. this tropical moisture moving to the north and northeast. some of it will stay offshore. but we think we'll get some of that moisture in our region. in addition, a cold front out to the west will be pressing to the east. these two combined looks like a pretty good shot here of rain. at least most of friday. may linger into saturday. all depends how fast that moves and how much of this moisture actually gets inland. we'll look for a pretty wet end to the week. and probably a start to the weekend. and then it will dry out somewhat, we think, on sunday. look for a pretty wet friday right now, based on our current models. tomorrow, beautiful, sunny day again. with high pressure in control. cool night, sunny afternoon. a little warmer. the front approaching from the west, yes. and our moisture from the south. for the time being, thursday, probably staying dry. but friday, all of that stuff comes together to give us rai

still warmer in d.c. 75 in elkton. and by the way, annapolis and kent island, at 71 degrees. right now, we have a bit of a west wind. tomorrow, the winds are going to start to shift more to the southeast. eventually, they'll start bringing in moisture. dew point will start coming up. and we started see something clouds here by thursday afternoon. now, by thursday night, it's possibility we could see a shower. best chance this week will come, with this front coming from the west. it's already got shower and thunderstorm activity, with warm air ahead of it. and this possible tropical system we showed you a minute ago. heavy rain for sure in florida, moving across the florida peninsula. maybe offshore, maybe inland. whatever is going to happen, it's going to bring moisture in our general direction. some of it may be shunted to the east. some of it may be held across the ohio valley, as we showed you that graphic. we may be in the ripoff zone, but i would prepare for a decent amount of rain here possibly on friday, with both of those things kind of coming together over the genera
