ktvu's eric rasmussen is live, actually on the road right now. what are conditions like? >> reporter: frank a in the last -- frank, in the last 5 minutes, the rain picked up again. this is a live look at south bound 101. we have been traveling the roads to look at what commuters are dealing with tonight. we are getting a live picture with two live cameras. i am able to keep both hands on the wheel and both eyes on the road as we tell you what we are seeing. chp has been dealing with a number of accidents with the rain storm. been a while since people have been driving in steady rain and we have seen accidents. california highway patrol urging everybody to take it slow out here tonight as they make their drive home. we are going counter commute so we have clear sailing but you may be able to see north bound 101, traffic backed up quite a big. that is what we were stuck in till we turned around. again, you can see my windshield wipers are going. we are expecting more of it as you heard bill martin say. chp urging everybody's to take it easy and be slow. live, eric rasmussen
