joining me now is eric schmidt, a senior writer covering terrorism and national security.he president is preparing for a council meeting just this week where he will press countries to adopt laws against citizens who travel abroad and join the groups. that kind of foreign recruiting being a feature of what we are seeing with isis right now. you read that the resolution would establish standards for nations to suppress the recruiting by terrorist organizations and bar the entry across the territory of suspected foreign terrorists. is he going to be able to sell that to the council? >> i think so. it might have been a tougher sell, but what happened with the rice of isis sweeping into northern iraq and taking over about a 30 of the country there, the gruesome besidings of two americans shocked a lot of countries who thought they were immune. what you will see is the president making a strong appeal on wednesday for the new international standards. many are being adopted by the countries. many countries are doing so now. this will put pressure on countries that haven't been d
