." >>> and now eva pilgrim is live in wildwood where the streets are flooded there as well. eva? >> rick, we actually pulled up here because this was higher ground. but you can see the water has completely overtaken this area. right here at the intersection of maryland and spruce in north wildwood. when we got here, the water was actually behind those cones over there, and not in in intersection at all, which is why we pulled in here. the water now has quickly come into this area. as you look up at the stoplight you can see how hard the wind is blowing here. this flag completely wrapped around the flagpole here and flapping in the wind as well. if you walk with me, you see a lot of the cars are having to move out of the water-ridden area into higher ground as they try to move the cars to a safer area as the water keeps coming. right now it is not really raining that hard right here. kind of a spitting drizzle going on at this hour. it was raying when we first got here. it comes and it goes. but the problem is the water keeps coming and we're just watching this water as it continu

eva pilgrim is off, alicia vitarelli joins us. >>> another case of deja vu flooding continues to be a problem at the jersey shore this morning. >> and you can hear the winds still howling in parts of the area, the gusts and the big storm is covering holes in the beaches. it was a wet, chilly night for some folks. a lot of people are telling me that the wind is waking them this morning. >> reporter: very wind down the shore, overall it will get better, but we have issues. storm tracker 6 live will show you we are dry this morning. sky6 live hd not bouncing quite as much inland. we have some breezes blowing through the region, but not as gusty as earlier. as we look at satellite and radar, you can see there's a fair amount of cloud cover around the region. i can't rule out a sunny break, looks like we might get that in in southern delaware early this morning. at the same time there's sprinkles and showers around south of philadelphia. that may be something that pops up occasionally today. coastal flood warning in effect until 6:00 p

eva pilgrim is off, i'm alicia vitarelli. let's get you to the the exclusive accuweather seven-day forecast, chris sowers is off, and meteorologist david murphy joining us saturday morning. >> reporter: we're all catching up from the pope coverage. that coastal flooding will be an issue. as you mentioned we have a high tide rolling in a little after lunchtime. the water will be high enough at high tide we're seeing the water coming back in and starting to create flooding issues, even now. as we look at storm tracker 6 live double scan, you can see there's a little bit of precipitation around, not much. an hour or two ago we had more around philadelphia. but this is pushing up to the north. the heavy stuff is long gone. the only thing coming off the ocean is light nuisance showers. that's going to be the case the rest of the day. cloudy cool and feeling damp with the sprinkles and showers coming in. nothing like the rain of the last couple of days. we have a coastal flood warning today and tonight and through 6:00 p.m. sunday.

winds and is already producing significant storm surge, trish hartman is live at the jersey shore and eva pilgram is further inland in south jersey to see how people are preparing there. lets check with our meteorologists, cecily tynan and adam joseph. >> we have significant developments with hurricane joaquin today, as you mentioned it's now an extremely dangerous category four hurricane, you look at this visible satellite. you can see the deep eye over the bahamas, just battering the islands, they could get in areas up to 20 inches of rain, now joaquin continues to push to the southwest because this is really key, we talk about how joaquin can get captured by an upper level low and push inland, if it continues to the southwest it can miss the capturing, that means it could head more northeast and one factor with the storm that is this strong, have you the measly upper level low, it's like wrestling a bear, it's hard to capture a storm of this size, that is another indication that there is a good chance that this storm could be tracking out to sea and that is what we all hope. the spaghe
