i keep this around with my colleague david faber or this warning on squawk on the street. he has a tremendous life of confidence. why else would this quarter, closing out now, be so devoid of murders and acquisitions if corporations truly have faith in future? the mode of combingss. be more confident. members of ceos. if you got this far, you deserve to be more confident. the common perception is these should be derailing the machlett. it has to end, doesn't it? here's the problem with this thesis. who cares. the fact is that the market is rallying in the face of these worries, which now, by the way, they've been with us for more than a thousand dow jones points. you missed a gigantic rally. that is imprudence. i call that an overabundance of caution. subtle here, the points to make money. instead of saying the market is stupidly going up in the face of these concerns, you have to ask yourself what happened happen if these concerns were resolved in a positive way. what happens if oil goes down. what happens if the federal bumgt were better balanced? what happens if portuga

exactly what we heard in the hearings on capitol hill, because of the excellent reporting by david fabery said there were multiple times when clients were called muppets, meant to be taken advantage of. because what the heck, goldman is the best, most prideful and lucrative. now, i know plenty of people at goldman sachs who stand for the opposite of what was written today. i do. i know plenty of people who didn't bet against clients and did right by them otherwise there's no way they'd have any business at all and i wanted to write a rebuttal on behalf of the firm. given how good it was to me and how much i owe it. i still do, but the piece read right to me, except for the bit where the author talked about table tennis at the jewish olympics. seriously, it's in there in the second to last paragraph that made me feel the whole thing might be a parody of a teenager's college application. i do know this, though, goldman will throw wrath toward me for saying anything but the author didn't know anything and didn't even win that rhodes scholarship. he was just a finalist. i'm confident i'll jo
