we're getting a taste of that in fairfield and livermore this morning. have gray skies above and the winds pretty gusty not just across the bay but in some of our inland areas across karkina strait. our temperatures this morning, not too bad. a little on the cool side in san francisco. close to 50 right now and mid-50s further south into san jose, and the wind speeds still pretty gusty. southwest at 26 miles an hour into fairfield, and when you see winds that strong early in the morning, not only will it pull in the clouds, but it's a good sign that your afternoon temperatures will be pretty mild coming up later today. air quality having that strong sea breeze keeping air pollution levels low throughout the area, so there's good news for your outdoor hiking and running plans today. it's going to stay nice and comfortable in terms of our temperatures. a little chilly around the inner bay with some 60s, and come wednesday, that's when temperatures will climb back up. in the meantime, the only active weather around the bay area, it's off to the east around

southwest winds at 25 in fairfield. northwesterly winds in livermore at 12 and the wind in oakland and san jose bringing in the low clouds. the humidity levels are fairly high. it will be unusual to see higher daytime humidity levels as the moisture spills out of southern california. which has been interesting to see from the international space station. you can see the lights in los angeles and san diego and the thunderstorms and look at all the moisture moving down to san diego and crossing over the grapevine and into santa barbara county tomorrow morning. you are seeing high clouds coming out of the southern california region and eventually that moisture will thicken up as we head through tomorrow and also into tuesday. one of two components we need for showers. the moisture will be on the increase. we will see more of that tomorrow and tuesday and a smaller weather system spin up west of the central coast that may provide enough lift to the moisture to give us a chance of seeing sure showers and a slight chance of t

look at fairfield -- 28-miles an hour. the type of breeze that will bring us a cool down which is what is going on in fairfield -- napa and santa rosa 10 to 15 degrees cooler than yesterday. the weather pattern hasn't made a change but the sea breeze has made a change for some of us. in fairfield still 94 degrees, but again santa rosa you are feeling the difference from yesterday. as we get into the evening hours we begin to see the heat peel back and away. we wake up tomorrow morning widespread 60s in the forecast. upper 60s to low 70s inland. another warm day tomorrow but we are tapering off the heat bit by heat. low 90s for tomorrow. into the east bay it will be another hot one, perhaps not as hot as recent days. 98 walnut creek as well as concord. down into the south bay -- 90 degrees san jose. in the afternoon 87 -- low 70s in san francisco -- mid-to- upper 60s at the coast. again, the trend will be a downward one but it will be a gradual one. we finally get into more comfortable weather into the weekend. >> in the me
