so i had to rely on files from the fbi to try get at like some primary sources in the fbi was. i, shall we say, less than cooperative and, in some cases less than truthful about if they had files or if they didn't, if the files, even existed or if they didn't. so i ended up having do just a lot of like trying to figure out how how can you piece something together when the accounts from witnesses are unavailable to you. and i did a lot of that by visiting archives like birmingham, sam, bull connor, weirdly enough, kept a ton of stuff from that era. and so every time would correspond like with the national police department that's in that file. and also whatever material the nashville police department sent him. so i was able to get some records some lists of songs that the police had and. so that was one way i had good luck with the florida archives. i found that other historians of this era were incredibly generous with, you know, so when i wrote somebody in, i was like, what do you know this? they would either say, here you'll find this helpful or they would be like, hey, you
