flynn did not speak.from my notes is eager to proceed to sentencing when it is possible. he also added that under the cooperation agreement it is up to the government to make that decision on the timing. flynn's lawyer also said he did not anticipate that any facts of his client's case would change before sentencing. that seemed to suggest that flynn's cooperation has been ongoing but may be complete at this time. the bottom line for the judge who took over the case shortly after the december guilty plea is that he wanted to meet both parties in person before proceeding to the sentencing and wanted to make clear they will not do any exceptions in the flynn case. both sides had wanted a pre-sentence investigation to help inform a decision on the sentence for flynn but the judge said that's kind of like putting the cart before the horse. what we do is set a sentencing date, get the probation people to do that pre-investigation for the sentencing. that's where we stand. they anticipate being back in court in
