question fore a your panel. it concerns the use of directed ads. i recently read that both directv and dish network are basically injecting as based upon people's profiles. they have all the persons browsing history available to them. cable companies are doing this as well. they have the added it vantage that they have people's browser history's, from their cookies and other forms of collected data. my question is, i don't think that this really helps democracy. two-facedis lead to politicians who will say anything to anyone to get their vote? isn't that will we want to avoid? i think the opposite. the reality is that until recently we have been unable to get past the kind of broadcast nature of television, to reach specific voters. that is not a bad thing to do that is a good thing. we want to make sure our candidates are able to engage the public where they are interested. if it is a specific issue they want to talk about. if it is a local issue that is more important than the national. there is nothing wrong with tailored messages, especially wh

we have been able to view our data on fore costing and trends and simply improve our care and reduceur cost by incorporating that claims district -- data. so long time mission. and to that end we've also had delays and the intent and delays have been reported over the years to this board. in september of 2012, we had started to pick up traction and that was related to committee on health and wellness on accountability and transparency we had a few milestones come out of it. we had released a joint statement in support of accountability and transparency in may of last year that was signed by the mayor. it was signed by the controller, by the department of hr, health services and aciu and they wanted us to establish a multi-clarity base and there was a transparency resolution passed by the board of supervisors and that claims be moved to all payer's claims data base and in june the health service board approved the wellness

i also want to take the time to thank the mayor's office on disability fore being able to provide support to this council as well as expertise when needed and guidance when needed as well. in moving forward i charge each and everyone of you here as well as in the crowd and in the community to step forward to not try to sink into the background. one of the easiest thing to do is to hear a passionate speech like this and move forward in the next day as if nothing happened. i know because identify been there. one reason i have been on this council because i was tired of hearing the same speeches and me not doing anything about it. you don't have to run to city hall immediately the next day, what you need to do is connect with someone else and it starts from there. maybe after the break or after the meeting is closed or maybe just calling the mayor's office on disability. it is up to each and everyone of us to move forward with this movement. but to start it off on a smaller scale and buildup. that's how we should build a true community. thank you again for letting me serve and wish you best
