virginia tracking one storm there is lightning around martinsburg. are you thinking do i hear thunder? yeah you do. maybe around jefferson county you'll probably see the lightning coming through. fredericky virginia. seeing a little bit in the way of some rain showers there too. that's really about it. these will continue to move up. then they're out of there. that's what this line that came through earlier today. we've got more storminess back to our west. that's what will come through tomorrow that will help to initiate a few of the showers and storms. but we keep talk about texas. look at the storms back towards texas, oklahoma kansas nebraska. over a dozen tornadoes reported earlier today, including some that did pose some damage towards portions of texas. so they cannot catch a break for us. we can't catch a break from the heat. it's going to be another hot one tomorrow. we'll see a couple of scatter storms. and around 5:00 in and around the d.c. metro area it's not going to be quite as widespread as this i don't think. but you may need the umbrella from time to time. if you forget it don't worry about it. it's not going to be a big deal. any showers that develop or any storms that

back to the west, shenandoah county, frederick county virginia we're still seeing showers most of them dying through the evening. by 11:00, most of this is out of here. we're just dealing with cloud cover. that's why i think it will be a nice night for dinner across the region. tomorrow morning starting off very warm and humid with some cloud cover. look at the storm chances. not much around the metro region, but back to the west in through the mountains i think that's where you have the best chance for storms tomorrow. although most of us will remain dry. i've actually kept the storm chances out for tomorrow on the seven-day forecast because i just don't see them except for to the west. same deal on sunday. earlier it looked like we could see strong storms sunday. i've taken those out completely. i think awful the rain will stay toward the mountains sunday. now, if you're thinking about heading to the pools tomorrow, 91 in fredericksburg, 84 in martinsburg. a very hot day. that's why i think the pool forecast is looking about perfect. 78 at 9:00, 84 at 11:00, 87 around 1:00. looking v

back to the west we are seeing these showers kind of die off through shan do wa county, frederick county, virginiathat's about it. those will continue to die off. these are also dying off toward the eastern shore if you're heading out 50 across the bay bridge over towards the eastern shore. i think you're going to be okay here. we have had some slowing on 50 as a result of some of that heavier rain earlier. tomorrow, hot a bit humid, isolated storms possible but most of us should stay on the dry side. i'm not really worried about storms tomorrow. high temperature 84 to 91 degrees. tomorrow is going to be the hot day. i think sunday will be hot too. down toward the beaches, that's what you'll want. you'll want the warmth and we'll have some of it 74 today, a nice forecast for this afternoon, 77 on saturday, 80 degrees on sunday. right now the weekend looking very nice. i've even taken out the chance of storms on sunday as a result of that frontal boundary coming through a little bit later. that's why the change in the forecast today. 88 degrees on sunday, a 30% chance of storms. but the front inste
