the spring snow out towards garrett county. if you're driving out toward pittsburgh, get ready tonight. along i-70 or 68 you are going to see some of the snow and it is on the heavy side. i did see a report of upwards of 18 inches of snow about an hour north of garrett county. that in central portions of pennsylvania. now as far as our temperatures went today, a high of only 50 degrees. a low of 42. we were nearly 20 degrees below our average low temperature for this time of year. incredibly cold. you add in the wind we saw wind chills today in the low to mid 40s all day long and over the last couple hours they've stayed in the 30s. the good news out of all of this, we've been talking about how dry we've been. we did pick up over an inch and a half of rain. we're still close to 4 inches below average as far as the deficit is concerned. but it is very good news for the spring time as we are seeing everything blooming of course and we're seeing the grass growing and we needed to see this rainfall to help with that. other good new
