if you are taking the golden gate bridge not a lot of cars. good news for you if you are traveling this morning to the golden gate bridge into the city, just about a 15 minute commute. the only place we are seeing slight delays is the ride into the altamont pass. it gets a lot better once you get on to 580 itself and the dublin interchange looks pretty well. right now no delays on 101. as of just moments ago the express lanes just opened up. more details on what you can expect. >> if you have been driving up 101 you may have seen express lane signs, but now they are actually open. now taking a live look, our photojournalist is driving up 101. the lanes run from 5:00 a.m.- 8:00 a.m. weekdays. if you are driving by yourself or you have one of the person you need to have fast-track. if there are three or more people inside it is free to drive in these lanes. across the bay the carpool lanes along 880 between oakland became express lanes in october 2020. the idea was to get more people a chance to pay the toll and get a faster trip. >> moving more

there's the golden gate bridge. 56 degrees, not too chilly in san francisco. tri-valley out towards livermore down to 41 degrees. very likely on our way to some 30s. again for tomorrow morning, san jose 49 degrees. as we see the light winds across the valleys, that may be the recipe for more patchy fog. we saw that this morning. could see some of that in the east bay valleys and around the inner bay for the morning hours. during the afternoon, not much in the way of clouds. but one change you might notice if you're in the foothill location, will be return of the offshore breezes. those are going to pickup as high pressure builds in. wind speeds will be picking up 15 to 30 miles per hour. watch these temperatures as we start the morning. 30s and low 40s in the north bay, and we're proably going to see 40 degrees of warming from the morning temperature. what you'll find by middle afternoon, temperature will start to rise as early as lunchtime in the upper 60s for the most of the bay area. and then by 3:00, look at that number up towards santa rosa, 78 degrees st
