georgia. georgia governor announced he will veto the discrimination bill the georgia legislature sent him. mean he may have saved his state from some serious economic repercussions. disney and marvel said they would stop filming in georgia if this bill became law. georgia has a multibillion dollar film and tv deal. the nfl said atlanta might not be able to hold a super bowl. over a dozen conventions said to move out of the state. if you're looking for immediate context why they would veto republican legislation, you can probably thank the business concerns but also thank mike pence for making such an example of himself and his state, in a bad way. that disaster in indiana did apparently scare off arkansas. arguably it scared off south dakota as well whose governor vetoed an anti-transgender bill earlier this month and dissuaded nathan deal in georgia. that didn't get to the governor of north carolina. north carolina's legislature last week called an emergency session. they spent more than $40,000 in state money to rush the entire legislature back from vacation so on an emergency basis they

georgia. >> georgia is on the mind of all candidates, with 100 two democrat and 76 republican delegates up for grabs, it's the second biggest prize on super tuesday. evangelicals and african americans hold major sway on this southern state's presidential picks. recent polls show voters democratic voters consider economy and healthcare the top issues, while republicans say the threat of terrorism is the number one issue, followed by the economy. i'm sally kidd. >> here in church, expected to be a close night if the polls are right. over marco rubio. that has not stop the two candidates from coming to visit each state. donald trump held a rally last night while marco rubio paid his second visit to atlanta in the past four days area meantime on the democratic side, it is projected to be an easy win for hillary clinton. clinton holds the 28 point lead over bernie sanders. arianna poindexter. geoff: thank you. we'll have full super tuesday results for you today on the wyff 4 mobile app. also, an hour long nightly news. lestor holt anchors live starting at 6:30 tonight from new york, right here on wyff 4. allyson: covering the upstate now, spartanburg county deputies say a 5-year-old boy was accidentally shot. it happened last night on rowe street in the arcadia area. deputies say the child was taken to spartanburg medical center. geoff: greenville police say a man was shot in the back overnight. officers say it happened brook haven apartments. they say the man was brought to injuries are not life-threatening. now, a wyff news 4 update on a fire in honea path. the 5-year-old girl pulled from the fire died from her injuries. allyson: wyff news 4's aly myles joins us live from the scene of the fire on green street. aly: a devastating time, not just for the family but for the community. i'm in front of that home which burned sunday night. you can see the damage to the house. you can still see charred remains from my the house caught on fire. the news for the family has gotten worse. the anderson county coroner says 5-year-old sophia rhodes has died from her injuries. fire officials tell us the child was found between a wall and a couch in the home. the little girl was rushed to the burn unit in augusta. she died monday night of smoke inhalation. friends of the family say sophia was the youngest of five children. aly myles wyff news 4 live in allyson: an update now out of cleveland county, north carolina, where a husband and wife were killed in a house explosion. family members say j.b. and naomi newton died when a vehicle hit a propane tank on east stagecoach trail. the driver of the vehicle had non-life threatening injuries. neighbors say there have been other accidents at that curved section of the road. geoff: in spartanburg county, the coroner now says the four usc upstate students killed in a crash in october had been drinking alcohol. the incident happened on fourth street near boiling springs. one of the five students in the car survived. the toxicology report released yesterday show the driver james campbell and two others had a blood alcohol content above the legal limit. the coroner says he needed guidance from the state attorney general before giving out the results because some families didn't want them released. allyson: a union county teacher resigned after she says a student sent nude photos of her to other students. leigh anne arthur was a mechatronics teacher at union county high school. she tells us she took partially nude photos of herself to give she says a student took her phone off her desk, went through her photos and sent them to other students. the school district says she's to blame because her phone was accessible. >> where are you putting the moral of the student?
